Shayne Plosker, MD. Dr. Plosker is Director of the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine IVF and Reproductive Endocrinology Division. Dr. Plosker received his medical degree from The University of Western Ontario in London, Canada, where he completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. His fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility was conducted at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Plosker has been designated as being in the top ten percent of Infertility subspecialists in America by the US News and World Report in 2010 and 2011. Under his stewardship, USF IVF has grown rapidly and performed in excess of 250 IVF procedures in 2011 at Tampa General Hospital. Since the inception of the program in 2006, USF IVF has expanded to include offices at the STC building across from Tampa General Hospital, the Morsani Medical Office building on the main USF campus, Sarasota, and Lakeland. Dr. Plosker has published articles on optimizing embryo transfer techniques, intrauterine insemination, and fertility preservation.
